Dr. Hugo Chan of Or & Partners led a delegation from Indonesian BIL Law Firm to attend the specialized seminar titled “Decoding Indonesian Investment: Legal Risk Map and Compliance Defense Line — Full-chain Practical Seminar from Market Access to Dispute Resolution”. Hosted by Guangdong Jintang Law Firm and co-organized by Global Legal Hub, the event was held at Jintang Law Firm’s main office in Shenzhen and served as the opening highlight of the four-day BIL delegation visit and exchange program (June 29 – July 2, 2026).
The seminar focused on high-frequency compliance challenges faced by Chinese enterprises investing in Indonesia, covering market access and land rights, labor and employment, taxation and transfer pricing, as well as dispute resolution and enforcement. It provided participants with a comprehensive legal risk map and practical compliance strategies across the entire investment chain. The seminar was moderated by Mr. Lin Zhichun, Partner of Jintang Law Firm and Chairman of the National Foreign-Related Legal Professional Committee. Keynote speakers included Mr. Eddy Isworo (Senior Partner) and Mr. Reynard Kristian (Partner) from BIL Law Firm, together with Ms. Huang Xueshan, Advisor of the Foreign-Related Legal Affairs Department at Jintang Law Firm.
