OPGlobal Legal Meet and BILLaw Firm Delegation Host China-Indonesia Cross-Border Compliance Conference at Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce On 2 July 2026
On 2 July 2026, the “China-Indonesia Cross-border Trade Compliance Exchange & Resource Matching Conference” was successfully held at the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce. Co-organised by the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce Legal Service Center and Global Legal Meet, the event formed a key part of the four-day visit by the Indonesian BIL Law Firm delegation.
The seminar was led by Dr. Hugo Chan (陳世強博⼠), Partner of Or & Partners (廣輝律師事務所) and Co-Chairman of Global Legal Meet, together with Mr. Daniel Or (柯廣輝律師), Co-Chairman of Global Legal Meet. It brought together senior partners from BIL Law Firm, Indonesian business leaders, and over twenty Shenzhen and Indonesian legal and business professionals.
Participants shared practical insights on Indonesia’s investment environment, compliance risks, labour and tax issues, and high-
potential opportunities, particularly in North Sulawesi.A major highlight was the signing of two strategic cooperation agreements — between the Shenzhen Chamber Legal Service Center and Global Legal Meet, and between Global Legal Meet and Guangdong Lvcan Law Firm. These signings established a three-tier cross-border service framework (“Shenzhen Headquarters – Hong Kong Hub – Global Localities”), providing Shenzhen enterprises with stronger end-to-end legal support for compliant expansion into Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
