Dr. Hugo Chan and Daniel Or Lead Indonesian BIL Law Firm Delegation on Visit to Shenzhen Guangming District Justice Bureau

From June 29 to July 2, 2026, Global Legal Meet hosted a four-day exchange program with the Indonesian BIL Law Firm delegation. As partners of Or & Partners, Dr. Hugo Chan and Mr. Daniel Or led the delegation on a visit to the Shenzhen Guangming District Justice Bureau Leaders of the Guangming District Justice Bureau elaborated on the Bureau’s bridging role between Guangming enterprises and foreign-related law firms, emphasizing resource integration and targeted matching. The Guangming Legal Services Building, a landmark for legal services in Guangming Science City, has attracted multiple high-end law firms including JinTang Guangming Law Firm. It is committed to establishing a one-stop, full-chain, and international legal service system. Resident representatives continue to utilize their expertise in foreign-related legal services to build high quality international legal docking platforms for local enterprises expanding overseas.

Global Legal Meet shared its core service strategy: leveraging Hong Kong’s position as a “super value-adder” to deliver cross-border legal services and comprehensive business advisory solutions for Belt and Road countries, with activities extending to Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area. Global Legal Meet is actively involved in the construction of the Global Legal Service Center at the Guangming Legal Services Building, a project spearheaded by the Guangming District Government and Jin Tang Law Firm, with the aim of creating a professional platform that connects Hong Kong’s international legal resources with the needs of Greater Bay Area enterprises.

This visit has strengthened international cooperation in foreign-related legal services for Ko Kwong Fai Law Firm, enabling the delivery of superior cross-border legal support to clients and helping them capitalize on development opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and under the Belt and Road Initiative.
